Reggae in the City Aarhus presented in collaboration with Volume Village, Reggae in the City Aarhus is here to bring real, authentic reggae vibes straight from Jamaica and around the world - right to the heart of Aarhus.
Every three months, we’ll present a live reggae act - whether it's a sound system, a DJ set, or a full band, delivering the powerful rhythms and conscious messages reggae is known for. Our mission is to bring reggae to Aarhus like never before.
We’re kicking off this journey on October 18th, 2015, with a special performance by Jah Bouks, internationally known for his hit song "Angola", supported by opening act Unstoppable Fyre.
This is just the beginning. Our goal is to put Aarhus on the international reggae map - one unforgettable event at a time.

Jah Bouks
Born Worin Gerol Shaw, in the Winchester community of St. Thomas, Jamaica, Jah Bouks started performing at 12.
Jah Bouks’ work is of a higher calling of consciousness and continues both on and off stage with youth empowerment, juvenile rehabilitation, and community development. Following a string of singles, Jah Bouks struck gold with his self-penned 2013 mega-hit “Call Angola.”
Jah Bouks’ music has taken him into youth empowerment and community renewal. He pairs his roots reggae sound with reggae righteousness and conscious lyrics.
Unstoppable Fyah
Unstoppable Fyah is a reggae artist hailing from Jamaica, making his mark on the global reggae scene with his infectious blend of roots reggae and dancehall.
Born and raised in Jamaica, Unstoppable Fyah's music is deeply influenced by the vibrant island culture. His lyrics resonate with genuine emotion, drawing inspiration from his own life experiences.
